Questions patients ask

It’s important to schedule Pap smears, which screen for cervical cancer, regularly, as early detection can be life-saving. Typically, women between the ages of 21 and 29 should schedule Pap smears every 3 years, and those between 30 and 65 years old should receive one every 5 years. However, how often you should receive the test depends on your age and specific risk factors. If you have a history of cervical cancer, your doctor may recommend more frequent testing.
