Liz, MA
Liz has spent the last 7 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) primarily caring for her mother from cancer and grandmother from dementia and Alzheimer’s. During this time she learned a variety of skills, but most importantly, she learned the best health care is compassion, understanding, and respect for each patient. Determined to expand her abilities, Liz completed the Medical Assistant Program at the Laramie County Community College (LCCC) and was fortunate to complete clinicals at Laramie Physicians for Women and Children (LPWC). She found, as you will too, that the LPWC doctors, nurses, and staff are remarkable people, holding her same values, and immediately welcoming her into the clinic. She was delighted that upon graduation in December 2020, she was able to join LPWC full time.
Liz grew up on a ranch west of Laramie, helping raise cattle and sheep, grow hay, and maybe fall off a horse or two into a mud puddle. In addition, her mother owned a thriving flower shop, where she regularly helped with design, delivery, and sales. After high school, Liz worked for Wyotech as a collector/accountant and later opened her own home bakery that was featured in Good Housekeeping. Yet, through all of these accomplishments, her pride and joy are her two sons. Together they love to mountain bike, metal detect, hike, shoot targets, play Fortnite (which Liz is getting pretty good at), and spend time with friends and family. They also enjoy visiting their family retreat in Thermopolis, Wyoming, and spend time in the hot springs and fishing!
Liz’s personality matches her favorite color (yellow) and her favorite flower (a sunflower). She can’t wait to meet you and find out how she can make your day a bit better.
