Maureen C. Lucas

MD, FACOG, MSCP

Dr. Lucas is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also credentialed as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.

Dr. Lucas received her medical education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1998. In 2002, she completed her residency in OB/GYN at RWJ Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. She then worked in Maine and New Hampshire for 5 years before making the trek out West. She worked with Billings Clinic in Montana for 15 years and is excited to begin a new chapter here at LPWWC in 2024.

More About Dr. Lucas

Her special areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, gynecologic care, including fibroid and endometriosis management, menopause management, including Hormone Replacement Therapy, and contraceptive management. She is excited to establish a patient base in Laramie and provide excellent gynecologic care.

In her free time, Dr. Lucas enjoys spending time with her family. She is a wife and mother of 2 wonderful kids. She is a dog lover, enjoys snowshoeing, skiing, wake surfing, and golf, and hopes to learn how to kayak and fly fish.
